A real person who can help
I’ve been helping people make sense of changing technology for most of my working life.
I started in technical support at 18, during the early days of the consumer internet. At the time,
millions of people were buying computers, getting online for the first time, and trying to understand
an entirely new part of everyday life. I helped thousands of them do it.
Technology changed. So did my career. I went on to spend more than 14 years in Quality Assurance and
Quality Systems at advanced medical technology companies, including Second Sight Medical Products and
Kite Pharma. I trained hundreds of employees, worked with complex business systems and documentation,
supported FDA audits, improved processes, and translated complicated requirements into instructions
people could actually use.
Now we’re living through another major change. AI is creating new possibilities surprisingly quickly,
while phones, computers, online services, security, and everyday digital life continue to get more complicated.
Having watched technology change before gives me perspective. The individual tools will come and go.
What matters is understanding which ones are useful, how they fit into your life, and how to use them
confidently and safely. That’s what I help people do.
